How to play
Everything you need to know to decide dinner with dice.
1. Roll the dice
Tap the big button to roll the Food die and Direction die. The Food die picks a cuisine (Pizza, Burgers, Asian…). The Direction die points you North, South, East, or West.
2. Find restaurants
After rolling, tap 'Find restaurants' to search Google Maps for real spots near you that match your food type and direction. Pick a radius (2–20 miles) and use filters like Open Now, Budget, or Kid-friendly.
3. Reroll options
Not feeling it? Reroll everything, just the food, just the direction, or go Chaos to randomize the radius too. You can also tap 'Widen' to expand the search range.
4. Group Mode
Play together! In Group Mode, everyone adds their name and rolls their own combo. Then tap 'Pick a winning roll' — the app randomly crowns a winner. Use that winning roll to search for restaurants. Great for friends, family, roommates, or coworkers.
5. Customize your dice
Create a free account to edit what faces appear on each die. Swap in your favorite foods, rename directions, add emojis — your dice, your rules. (Guests always play with the default set.)
6. Sign in
You can roll as a guest, but signing in unlocks custom dice and saves them across devices. Use email + password or Google sign-in.
